Thailand has restated its aim of welcoming 10 million foreign tourist arrivals by the year-end.
Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) Governor Yuthasak Supasorn said over four million tourists have arrived in Thailand so far this year, and an annual total of 10 million is within reach.
It would generate about THB1.2 trillion in spending.
TAT expects about 160 million domestic trips this year.
The Thailand tourism industry should fully recover by 2024, Yuthasak says.
